Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is a crown entity providing housing for people and families in need while delivering the support required to help them live well in their homes. Aligning with our vision of ‘we build homes not houses’ in communities where all demographics are respected and treasured, has been extremely important to us and we will continue to work with Kāinga Ora well into the future.
Lime Developments partnered with Kāinga Ora to develop three standalone dwellings in Hoon Hay. Two multi-level four-bedroom homes and one two-bedroom single-level home were constructed to provide warm, healthy homes with Home-star 6 for three families.
Hoon Hay is an outer suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand, located at the base of the Port Hills and about 5 kilometres southwest of Cathedral Square. The Hoon Hay site was chosen for its social housing requirements within the area.
